As part of the AEHESIS project, this group is also working closely with the European Coaching Council in the review of the EU five-level structure for the qualification of coaches. This review is being conducted by a multi-agencty group, including a number of international sports federations.

• Following an extensive period of consultation, the European Coaching Council (a sub-committee of the European Netwrk of Sport Science Education and Employment) has published a Draft Review of the EU 5-level structure for coaching qualifications. Conferences & meetings

• On 02 & 03 May 2007, the AEHESIS expert group in Sport Coaching was presenting a review of the EU 5-level structure for the qualification of sport coaches. More than 40 experts and relevant stakeholders from the sector, such as the European Athletics Association, the IAAF World Body or the EOC Executive Board attended the event organised in the beautiful city of Budapest.
